This multi-level villa, built into the mountain, 100 steps up from the ocean, feels like one of the wonders of the world. These lovely photographs actually do not do it justice. Cameras simply cannot capture the extraordinary panoramic views that greet you on each of the three terraces and as you open your curtains in the morning. The infinity pool, which appears to flow into the ocean below, is an amazing feat of engineering and beauty. It offers a refreshing start to the day and a wonderful way to return from excursions to nearby Knossos Palace, a family-run olive oil factory, the honey bee museum, or the spectacular Melidoni Cave. The kitchen could truly not be better stocked or organized—it is a perfect “chef’s kitchen,” and the meals we prepared there (yes, with some very talented cooks and with the most glorious farm-grown ingredients) rivaled any 5-star restaurant. As exquisite and thoughtfully designed as this villa is (you will find a gym, yoga mats, immaculate laundry room, books to read in multiple seating nooks), it is also wonderfully homey and comfortable. One evening, after cocktails on the terrace, a meal beautifully presented at one of the outdoor tables, and a magical moon-rising, we settled into the cozy living room couches and watched a movie. For multiple families traveling together, Lady Sea offers ample privacy (all bedrooms have en suite bathrooms) while still creating warm and connected spaces. As many details as I have offered here, there are still many amazing aspects of the villa and surrounding areas that I have left unsaid. Suffice it to say, our group of 8 had an experience of a lifetime at Lady Sea. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
I highly recommend Nektaria when you make your plans to holiday in Crete. We were a party of 6 staying at the Lady Sea. One individual in our party is gluten-free. Nektaria prepared a beautiful meal that included, among other things, generous portions of roasted lamb, grilled fish, moussaka, lemon roast potatoes, and a Greek salad. The meal elevated the level of the term "Farm To Table" - the olive oil was made by her (she has a special certification in olive oil), the tomatoes and vegetables were from her garden, the feta was made by her grandfather. The freshness and flavorfulness of the ingredients were the star of the meal. For dessert, she prepared homemade Greek pastries, including, to our delight, an additional homemade gluten-free version. Nektaria was professional throughout, detailed in her presentation, and warm and delightful to spend time with.

We had the privilege of celebrating my 40th birthday with my friends at this beautiful place — and what an experience it was! Where do I even begin? The villa is absolutely stunning. Each room has its own bathroom, there’s a fully equipped gym, a relaxing sauna, two spacious living rooms, several terraces, and of course, the incredible pool area.
The villa is tastefully furnished — modern, yet wonderfully cozy — creating the perfect atmosphere for both comfort and style.

We had an incredible stay at the Lady Sea... still pinching ourselves. Its location, architecture, quality of amenities, kindness and warmth of welcome were beyond what we could have imagined. The view alone, open to the sea, made the trip worth it, but being able to walk all the way down to the private coves to swim in the sea was so fabulous ! Though you could also never leave the house: the beautiful sea water infinity pool, the various decks to enjoy, the chef's kitchen, the comfortable air-conditioned rooms were all top notch and made it easy to just relax and enjoy. It is all beautifully furnished in a contemporary and cosy style, with colours to match the changing landscapes surrounding the house. We felt embraced by the place and the people. Truly Magical!
Our extended family stayed at the Villa for 6 nights .it was the perfect in so many ways. Spectacular sea views, great layout both inside and outside, gorgeous furnishings, comfortable bedding,, fantastic working kitchen, beautiful pool, outdoor kitchen, outdoor seating, couches, poofs, bathrooms and closet space and all extremely clean .the indoor elevator made moving upstairs and downstairs for our elderly parents so easy. The best was our host George who was friendly, highly attentive , available, and very helpful. The warm help Margarita was great in helping us manage the day to day mess with a household filed with 13 family members allowing our stay to remain comfortable and really enjoyable.
In short, We would recommend this villa to any large family or friend group looking for a great space to share meaningful time together in style and comfort!

Our stay at LadySea in Crete was nothing short of exceptional. The private beach is accessed by a beautifully carved path through the rocks and felt like an exclusive retreat. Every part of the property offers sweeping ocean views and the patio created the perfect setting for all our meals. Each morning began with coffee at sunrise over the water—an experience we’ll never forget (video attached). The villa itself is luxurious: expansive, elegantly designed, and outfitted with every modern comfort, including an elevator to each floor that made hosting and managing little ones effortless! The home is set into the mountains with peaceful/quiet privacy yet it was still convenient to town and restaurants. The property manager was wonderfully responsive and attentive, always available and willing to accommodate any request with ease. Truly unforgettable holiday experience in Crete!

I loved the Sauna. As someone who prefers cold showers over warm showers, that also worked really well.
I love views and there are some tankers parking in the bay in front of the villa which is spectacular to watch against the backdrop of the sun and ocean.

We stayed at Lady Sea Villa for a bachelor trip and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a luxury villa. It was a truly exceptional experience that went far beyond everything described online.
The villa is beautifully located with direct access to the sea, a spacious pool, elegant interiors and breathtaking views. But what made our stay truly special was George, the villa manager. He took care of absolutely everything. From the private chef and breakfast delivery to late night transfers from Heraklion, he handled it all. Thanks to him, we could fully relax and enjoy every moment. It was honestly better than any hotel experience we have ever had.
Every detail was perfect. The villa was spotlessly clean, the towels were beautifully arranged, the fridge was stocked and the atmosphere was welcoming and calm. Everything was prepared with care and great attention to detail.

We were never planning to visit Greece, forget Crete , all we knew before we entered the EU was that we were going to tour Italy.
At the last moment, we decided to fly into Athens, to tour just for the day, and at the last minute , it was decided that we should take a relaxing break for a few days.
My wife opted for LadySea as a referral, and that's what we did.
We were all very excited to visit the Crete island.
The pickup service from the airport was arranged, so when we landed, we were guided to the vehicle, and off we went.
A short 15-minute drive to LadySea, and we were warmly greeted by Nikos, who took us through the entire house and its facilities.
It was already late into the evening. We were all so thrilled at the huge 3 floor home we were staying in, we just wanted to start making use of everything.
I wanted to take a bath, but to my disappointment, there was no hot water. It was just warm.
My daughter, who took a shower around the same time, also complained that there was no hot water.
We did notify Nikko of this and told us that there should be hot water.
We left it for the next day, and yip there was hot water the day after.
2 days later, it was overcast and rainy, there was zero hot water. We all had to shower on Luke warm water once again.
I would rather stay at a crap hotel with endless supply of hot water, than a beautiful house like this.
Hot showers and baths are very important to me, and this house failed in this regard.
It seems the geysers are linked strictly to solar (pv) supply, no grid supply for evening heating.
There was a washing machine and tumble dryer I made use of, and a great steam iron to iron those creased clothes.
The TV service didn't have any English football channels available, so we had to mirror our iPad to the TV to watch our games.
No heated water pool to enjoy, so none of us made use of the pools.
All in all, it wasn't up to my expectations, and I wouldn't think about coming to this house in the future.

We are saddened to read that, unlike the rest of our guests who all had a wonderful time at Lady Sea, your experience was different.That being said, we would also like to take this opportunity to respond to the points you mentioned below for clarification and accuracy reasons.WARM WATER See below the sequence of events.You arrived at the villa very late on Sep 16 for a brief 3-night stay. We are really happy to hear that your first impression was positive with both the complimentary airport pick-up and Nikos, the villa manager, warm welcome. The next morning, Sep 17, your wife texted Nikos about the water in the shower being warm, but not as hot as you would like it to be, the night of your arrival. Our housekeeper tested the water temperature with your wife straight away and showed her how the tap operates. As you mentioned, indeed, “there was hot water” and we thought that everything was sorted, especially, since there has been no further complaint about the hot water ever since in our countless Whatsapp messages with your family, mainly talking about restaurants, transfers, things to do etc. The only time your wife mentioned the water being an issue, was two days later, on Sep 19, after the checkout. SOLAR PANELSYour comment about the villa being strictly linked to solar panels is absolutely NOT ACCURATE and MISLEADING as there is indeed a very large boiler as a backup, in case there is not enough solar supply. Switching between the energy-efficient solar panels and the boiler is very simple and we would have done it for you, if you had made us aware of you not having enough hot water on Sep 17 and 18. Actually, there is a team of standby personnel that can come to the villa 24/7 in case of emergency. We just wish you had sent the villa manager a simple text when you noticed the issue on the evening of Sep 17.POOLLady Sea has a wonderful pool that can be heated - at extra cost - as explained to you by the villa manager. Upon arrival, you tested the water with your hands and you told the villa manager not to heat it up. That was your personal decision and that was beyond our control.BRITISH SPORTS CHANNELSWe do not advertise in any marketing materials that our 2 TVs have access to every international channel including channels that broadcast the British soccer games. We wish you would have asked when you booked so that we avoid any disappointment. We are really glad though that the mirroring worked well with our TV. On a positive note, we are really glad that you enjoyed the other amenities of Lady Sea. It is such as pity that the weather in mid-September was not as good as we all hoped for and that you had to cancel last minute our complimentary guided tour in the Palace of Knossos as well as all other plans that Nikos had made for you. We spent 5 nights at Ladysea as a family of 7. The villa is fantastic - spacious, well laid out, modern and really well equipped, and well stocked with food items. The views are great in particular from the upper level master bedroom.
Our kids loved how much living space they had to spread out, the ping pong table and pool area. We loved the sauna. There is also a gym and steam room.
The service was also great. Nikos the operations manager was highly responsive and also helped out a lot with arranging transportation. We hired a van to take us sightseeing and to beaches, dinner etc.
My only critique is that the refrigerator in the kitchen was not cooling properly and we found the pool a little chilly and felt it should have been heated. That is possible for an extra charge of 200 euros per day which we opted not to spend as we were not using it enough to justify that. Towel changes are also every 3 days and should be daily.
All in all a fantastic experience and our whole family wants to return.
